Dixie is an elderly female Chihuahua who came to us after retiring from being used for breeding. We took her straight to the vets where they diagnosed her with having the start of pyometra and a serious heart murmur.
She was immediately spayed and started on a twice daily vetmedin heart medications to mange her condition.
